Directions for Use:
Diffusion: Place 3-4 drops in a diffuser.

BASIL ESSENTIAL OIL RECIPES

1.
Spring Gnocchi
Ingredients: 2 tbsps. coconut or olive oil, 20 oz. potato gnocchi, 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 tsps. fresh lemon juice, 8 oz. halved grape tomatoes, 3 c. raw spinach, ½ c. parmesan cheese, 1 tsp. chopped rosemary leaves, 1 drop Basil essential oil, 1 drop Lemon essential oil, 1 diced bell pepper, 1 chopped onion, 1 sliced zucchini, Salt & pepper as desired
​Instructions: Heat 1tbsp. coconut/olive oil in large nonstick skillet. Add gnocchi and cook until golden brown stirring often. Transfer to bowl and let rest. Add 1 tbsp. coconut/olive oil, chopped onion, sliced zucchini, and diced bell pepper and sauté over medium heat. Add garlic and water, cook until veggies are soft. Add spinach and cook until spinach soften. Add halved tomatoes, lemon juice, essential oils, herbs, salt and pepper. Add gnocchi and top off with parmesan cheese. Cover and simmer until cheese melts

Rainbow Salad with Tomato-Basil Dressing
Ingredients: For Dressing : 2 tbsps. champagne vinegar, 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 plum tomatoes, ½ c. extra-virgin olive oil, 1-3 drops Basil essential oil, Dash of sugar, if desired to cut acidity from tomatoes, Salt and pepper as desired. For Salad: 8 thinly sliced radishes, 4 thinly sliced shallots, 4 summer squash, 4 zucchinis, 2 halved cherry tomatoes, 1 c. sunflower seeds, 1 ½ c. shaved parmesan cheese
​Instructions: Puree tomato with food processor. In a small mixing bowl, combine tomato puree, minced garlic, olive oil, Basil essential oil, and champagne vinegar. Add sugar, salt, and pepper as desired. Use a veggie spiralizer to cut zucchini and squash; trim very 3-4 rotations. Put zucchini and squash spirals into large mixing bowl, add shallots, radishes and cherry tomatoes; add vinaigrette to taste and toss evenly. Top off with shaved parmesan and sunflower seeds. Serve immediately.

Basil Spinach Pesto
Ingredients: 6 c. spinach leaves, washed thoroughly, 2 cloves of garlic, peeled, 2 tbsps. extra-virgin olive oil, 2 drops Lemon oil, 1 drop Basil oil, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 tsp. sea salt, ½ c. of walnuts, ¼ c. Parmesan cheese, ⅛ tsp. black pepper
​Instructions: Add all ingredients to a food processor. Mix thoroughly and evenly. Put in air tight glass jar and store in the refrigerator.

Parsley-Basil Steak
Ingredients: 2 boneless strip steaks, 1 ¼ to 1 ½ inches thick, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 drops Basil essential oil, 1 cup Italian parsley, chopped, Salt and pepper as desired
​Instructions: Trim and remove all excess fat from steaks. Place steaks, garlic, olive oil, Basil essential oil, and parsley in a large zip-lock bag and allow to marinate for 4 hours in the refrigerator. Grill meat until desired done, salt and pepper to taste while cooking.
